Fourth grade students created castles that showed a variety of textures. Students learned how to create towers that looked three dimensional by curving the lines of the tower. We discussed how to draw and shade various textures including brick, stone, wood, water and the scales of a dragon. Castles were also shaded to show dimension. These castles are fit for either a princess or a knight!
