James Rizzi Buildings

Third grade students had the opportunity to look at the work of James Rizzi.  He was known for creating buildings with facial characteristics and expressions.  Students began by creating rows of overlapping buildings that resembled animals and irregular shapes.  Facial characteristics were added to each building.  Colored pencil and watercolors were used to add a colorful touch.
