First Grade students created a self portrait from a cardboard person. We began by learning how to draw facial features. Students were then able to create clothing from scrapbook paper. Yarn was used for hair. These began to look like the student the more they personalized the details.
Similar to "Flat Stanley"...how fun would it be to take these students out and about?
