Primary Color Paint Blots

Kindergarten students were introduced to primary and secondary colors.  Students created a letter, number or line design on the paper using the primary colors (Red, Yellow and Blue.)  The students folded the paper in half and rubbed the colors together.  The primary colors mixed to create the secondary colors (Purple, Green and Orange.)  The students enjoyed discussing what they thought the paint blot became; a face, a clown, an alien, it is all in the eye of the beholder.
