Third grade students created a symmetrical Kaleidoscope design. Students learned how to create a symmetrical design, a design that is the same on each side. Students folded the paper in half both directions, creating four squares. Students drew a design in one of the squares. This square was then rubbed to another square creating a symmetrical block. These two squares were then rubbed to complete the design. The design was colored symmetrically. Outlining the design in black marker gave the Kaleidoscope design a stained glass effect.
