Second grade students had the opportunity to look at the works of Charles Demuth. Students discussed warm and cool colors. The warm color numbers jump off the paper, compared to cool color numbers that hang back from the warm color background. Students created a bubble number. Then they added a point that they drew radiating lines from the center. Students then chose the color scheme for their number and background.
