First grade students created crazy caps! Students water painted the hat and added a variety of decorations. Students painted their hat to look like the Cat in the Hat from Dr. Seuss, all black top hats, and spring creations that became mobiles. Students added foam flowers, feathers, hung cut paper objects with yarn from the rim. Not one hat looked alike...yet they were successful and had fun with their creations!
Identities were protected by faces not being shown!
