Three panels of Claude Monet's Water Lilies
from the MoMA collection in New York City.
Each 6' 6 3/4" x 13' 11 1/4"
I had the opportunity to view Claude Monet's Water Lilies at the MoMA in New York City.
I was so inspired by his work that I couldn't wait to share his work with the first graders. We began by finger painting a water scene, including reflections of the trees in the water. Students then cut out a variety of sizes and colors of lily pads. To finish the water lily flower student's added tissue paper. I wonder if attaching all of the first grade paintings together would give the same effect as Monet's large panels?
